ACRO SCHEDULE (png)
DownloadThis class focuses on building the basics kids need for acrobatics: motor skills, balance, strength, and listening. We keep things fun and structured so they can learn how to follow instruction, move safely, and build acrobatic skills over time.
CLASS BREAKDOWN (1 HOUR 15 MIN)
- 10 min warm-up
- 30 min skill stations (flexibility, strength, balance, limbering, intro tumbling)
- 20 min group work (aerial silks, acrobatic partnering, conditioning)
- 15 min guided play
This class builds acrobatic skills with structure and consistency. Students will work on body control, strength, flexibility, and learn proper technique for handstands, tumbling, aerial silks/hoop, and acrobatic partnering. We also introduce routines to help them build focus, memory, and performance skills.
CLASS BREAKDOWN (1 HOUR 30 MIN)
- 10 min warm-up
- 10 min line work (balance, jumps, shapes, handstand prep)
- 30 min skill stations (flexibility, limbering, tumbling, form drills)
- 20 min aerial (silks & lyra hoop rotation)
- 20 min partner acrobatics and routine work (solo or group)
This class focuses on building strength, flexibility, and technique across all areas of acrobatics. Students will train in tumbling, limbering, aerial silks, lyra hoop, and acrobatic partnering. They will also begin learning routines, either solo or in groups, and work on clean shapes, transitions, and body control.
The last 30 minutes is used for movement development, spotting, and focused individual practice.

Katya has been coaching kids since 2014, working with all levels from beginners to national athletes. She competed for Canada in rhythmic and aesthetic group gymnastics and holds certifications in gymnastics (NCCP Level 3) and Acrobatic Arts (Level 1). Her focus is on building strong, confident kids through fun, structured training.
